8:18am 03-21-2009 Ryan7: We've got to win them 1st, & even then we're not guaranteed to stay up. Sowerby & Warley both had good wins last week so they've both pulled away now. It looks likely now that we'll go down this season but like Leon says, lets just get the last 3 games out of the way & look to build for next season.

Matt, nothing has been decided about where we'll be based next year, that & all other decisions will be made at the AGM as always. We have been offered money by the Rose & Crown to go there next season so this will be brought up at the AGM & voted on. Mick knows this & will be happy with either outcome.

At the end of the day we need money to run the club & there are only certain people willing to make sure we have money to run the club, if The Rose offer money to pay for pitch fees etc & The Red don't then it would make sense to be based from The Rose. We can't run a club without money for pitch fees, kits/playing equipment, insurance etc etc

8:44am 03-19-2009 Leon: Matt, why do you ask these questions on here but not on a Saturday at the football? The existing committee may not have been involved that much with trying to sort things for next season but that is because most have said they aren't going to be doing it next year/are quitting playing... no decisions have been made on anything yet but if they do get made then it will be made with the best interest of keeping the club going.

Only 3 games left lads... lets just get to the end of seasons with a team in tact and lets all then build for the future in whatever division that will be. Hopefully Matt you will still be around to help keep the club going.

11:24pm 03-18-2009 wilks: and below is another lesson in how to win friends and influence people ? lets try not to provoke players to leave but encourage them to stay, "rumour" would not come into it if everyone involved with the club were kept informed , none of the existing commitee have spoken to anyone about leaving the Red Lion unless Leon or Zoe have ?
